Specialty retail grocery store Trader Joe’s recently added its own cheese shred substitute: Trader Joe’s Vegan Mozzarella Style Shreds.
I had the opportunity to try Trader Joe’s cheese, and loved the rich flavor and soft texture. Note: The shreds do not taste like Daiya, instead it has a similar consistency and taste to Galaxy Nutritional Foods Vegan Mozzarella Style Shreds.
Trader Joe’s new cheese is free of casein (milk protein) and completely vegan-friendly.
A company representative told TDIV that Trader Joe’s Vegan Mozzarella Style Shreds will be sold in all Trader Joe's store locations.
