The first time I saw Christina Pirello she was preparing one of her easy-to-navigate, vegan recipes in a newly renovated kitchen, while being serenaded by a musician whose song choices not only set the mood for whatever feast she had planned, but also highlighted her Italian descent. It was awesome! I instantly hit the record button on my remote and began looking forward to my weekly hour in Christina’s kitchen. I also started reading her books.
