Hulu viewers served ‘A Side of Truth’ with COK’s pro-veg commercial

Fresh from a successful nationwide television run last fall, Compassion over Killing is starting 2012 with a bang by launching their 30 second commercial, ‘A Side of Truth’ on Hulu.

The commercial shows a young girl pulling up to a drive-in window to order a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, before finding out the shocking and painful reality that the meat, egg and dairy industries entail.

Hulu has made its streaming content available for online, tablet or smartphone access, as well as its television subscription service, which in total means that the ad will reach over 1 million people. Once finished, the ad displays a link to COK’s website TryVeg.com where viewers can request or download a free Vegetarian Starter Guide as well as checking out all the resources the site has to offer.

Michigan Bev was born and raised in England but currently resides in Michigan. She's been a vegetarian since she was 14 years old, and became more interested in veganism several years ago after studying Agro-business as part of an Ecology degree. Bev has a gorgeous daughter in second grade who has been a vegetarian her whole life (lucky girl).
