Celebrate Halloween at Long Island's second annual Barkfest

If you'll be in the New York area this Halloween, you have got to stop by the second annual Long Island Halloween Barkfest. The event is hosted by TV anchor Jill Nicolini of Good Day New York and will be held on Sunday, October 30 from 2-5 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express on 3131 Nesconset Highway.

The event is Long Island's largest pet costume contest -- can you even imagine how cute it must be? A parade will be held to feature each of the hundreds of best dressed pets, so you won't miss any of the cute costumes.

All admissions are free, but donations will go toward the Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center located in Port Jefferson Station, NY.

If you are able, be sure to attend this fun and FREE event! It is also not too late to enter your pet in the contest, so start thinking of costumes!

Please remember to RSVP by email or by calling 631-471-8000.
