Mike Rowe slated to narrate Discovery Channel’s ‘Human Planet’

From Ghost Hunters to Deadliest Catch to Wild Pacific, Mike Rowe’s vocal talents can be heard just about everywhere—not to mention his numerous appearances on Ford commercials. Now the “Dirty Jobs” creator and host is adding to his already impressive resume’ by lending his distinctive baritone voice to Discovery’s new epic series “Human Planet.”

Rowe will guide viewers through stories of “human perseverance” taking place in exotic locales such as the Sahara, West Papua and Kenya.

One thing is certain this gig sounds a lot less harrowing than traversing a city sewer or cleaning the windows of a skyscraper.

Listen to Mike Rowe's brilliant narration, along with some pretty impressive visuals, starting this Sunday, April 10 at 8PM ET/PT with “Rivers and Oceans” followed by a second episode entitled “Mountains” airing at 9PM ET/PT.
