Swiss village to execute dogs if owners don’t pay taxes

Tax season is upon us and if you flip on your television the preparation services will make sure you are painfully aware of that fact with a myriad of commercials.

But as excruciating as doing your taxes can be, especially if you owe money, at least your dog is safe. Say what?

According to the AP, a small Swiss village called Reconvilier has a problem with delinquent taxes and they have a plan to motivate tardy payers.

Officials plan to execute dogs if owners do not pay their $50 annual pet tax. Wow and we thought audits were tough.
