Holiday gift ideas for the vegans on your shopping list

It's a special time of year, but it's running out!  Here's your last chance to get some shopping done while supporting amazing vegan companies and sanctuaries. From adopted chickens to cozy hats, we at This Dish is Veg know what the vegan on your list wants for Christmas.

gifts for him:
For the dude on your list, we can't think of a better gift than this cozy hoodie from Herbivore Clothing.  The last day to order for Christmas delivery is the 20th.  While you're there, check out their great wallets and t-shirts.  This is a great destination for one-stop shopping!

gifts for her:
Cozy gifts are always appreciated!  Decadent soy candles, bath products from Lush, cozy mittens and hats are all great gifts. These are things we always want, but never buy for ourselves. What a great opportunity to spoil us!

gifts for the vegan foodie:
I may be biased, but I think vegan foodies are the best people in the world to shop for. Whether it be homemade sweets,  specialty salts, or a new cookbook, the foodie is the easiest to please!  An especially thoughtful and beautiful gift is hand stamped silverware from Vegan Aesthetics.

gifts for the newly vegan:
This group could be the most fun to shop for!  You can share your favorite vegan cookbooks,  put together a care package with some vegan essentials like nutritional yeast, dark chocolate, vegan marshmallows, b-12 supplements, the options are endless! Better yet, why not adopt a farm animal, or make a donation in their name to a worthwhile sanctuary?  Animal sanctuaries are always in need of support and it serves as a good reminder why your friend went vegan in the first place.

Support chickens at Ching Sanctuary for $15 a month!  Or make a donation!

stocking stuffers for everyone:
Instead of a boring sock this Christmas, get a fun tote bag from our friends at Food Fight, like this one that reminds us that "Vegan means I'm trying to suck less" and fill it up with awesome stuff like Go Max Go candy bars and Sarah Kramer's pocket sized cookbook, Vegan A GoGo.

So, what are you waiting for? We've done all the footwork for you, get shopping!!
