Ted Nugent calls Sarah Palin his ‘hero’ in YouTube video

The man that causes woodland creatures to scatter faster than vegans running from the Heart Attack Grill is back, and this time he was kind enough to videotape his insane ramblings for posterity.

In a video recently posted on YouTube, animal killer extraordinaire Ted Nugent declares his “heroes” Sarah Palin, Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett to be the “trifecta of hands on conservation.” The one minute and forty-five second recording will leave you scratching your head, for many reasons.

“So to all my fellow human beings, who like to eat [chuckles] and like to breathe and cherish God's miraculous creation of sustainability I merely say drive safely (what?)," said Nugent. “There is no debate, there is no contest, there is no alternate choice to hunting, then to hunt.”

At first blush the first thing that pops into one’s mind is “huh?” On second thought that really is the only thing that comes to mind.

He follows up that gem of an intro by mentioning the Palin family and his hunting brethren from across the globe. The Motor City Madman then conveys his admiration for his gun toting comrade’s “hands on” approach to saving nature.
Our hands on connection to that which sustains us, it's a win win win, wildlife thrives, habitat is optimized for air, soil and water production and the cycle of life with or without us will go on but with us we put huge amount of dollars into that habitat for our air soil and water quality and for the productivity of grouse and caribou stocks. It's really so simple it's stupid.

So according to The Nuge, Mother Nature can survive without us but unfortunately she would lack the funds and firepower to further evolve the planet, thereby leading to the eventual extinction of animals he likes to hunt, even though he wouldn’t be there to hunt them since humans wouldn’t exist. Interesting theory—please note interesting in this case equals bat sh*t crazy.

Thanks once again Uncle Ted for proving that hunting takes nothing more than a thirst for killing and a little hand eye coordination. Brains are most obviously optional.
