British woman caught on film throwing away live cat

On Saturday, a middle-aged woman in Coventry, England was caught on tape tenderly stroking a four-year-old cat, Lola, before grabbing her by the neck and dumping her in a garbage bin, then walking away. The poor feline was left in the trash receptacle for 15 hours before the cat's owners Stephanie and husband Darryl found her.

Darryl stated, “I looked inside and I found her in the bin, she was terrified and covered in her own mess.”

The young couple had installed CCTV to monitor actions outside of their house and captured the shocking abuse on film, posting it on Youtube in hopes of finding the culprit responsible.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) tracked down the woman this morning. According to Sky News, the RSPCA says that the woman is being offered police protection. Authorities deny the statement, yet said police officers had been stationed outside her home as a "precaution" for the backlash she is receiving.

The British woman who threw the cat away as if it were a piece of trash, has yet to be named. There is no telling how many times she has done this, or worse, to a living creature.

Lola has been recovering from the awful ordeal and is now safe at home. [Update: Woman caught dumping cat in bin 'profoundly sorry']
