Vegetarian performer Joss Stone set to become Bond girl in video game

Grammy Award-winning artist and lifelong vegetarian Joss Stone is set to become the latest Bond girl in Activision’s third-person action game entitled “James Bond 007: Blood Stone,” an “original Bond experience” written by screenwriter Bruce Feirstein.

In addition to her leading role, Stone also created an original track for the video game called “I’ll Take it All.” The song is co-written and performed with David Stewart of the Eurythmics.

The game itself features the likeness and vocal talents of Stone along with Bond regulars Daniel Craig and Judi Dench.

And after reading over Activision’s description, it appears every possible Bond element will be included in this third-person action adventure from exotic locales, international conspiracies and of course high tech gadgetry.

"'James Bond 007: Blood Stone' captures the cinematic intensity of a Bond film by immersing players in an intriguing conspiracy that will require them to think and act like James Bond," said David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing. "In addition, the game will feature a diverse array of multi-player modes and debut strategic objective-based gameplay that will allow Xbox 360, PS3™ and PC players to battle as teams of spies and mercenaries through authentic Bond locales."

"James Bond 007: Blood Stone" is currently in development with no set release date.
