Singer Sheryl Crow featured in new HSUS ad campaign

Sheryl Crow, the Grammy-winning singer songwriter, is using her celebrity to help animals in need. In a new TV ad campaign for the Humane Society of the United States, Crow’s new single, “Summer Day” is featured as she urges viewers to become a Human Hero and support the HSUS.

For the next three weeks, anyone who donates any amount to the organization will receive a free download of “Our Love is Fading”, a song that will be on Crow’s new album 100 Miles From Memphis, which will be released on A&M Records July 20th.

Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of the HSUS, has praised the singer’s efforts saying, “Sheryl Crow is a dedicated supporter of animal welfare, and The Humane Society of the United States is honored to have her join us in our efforts to end animal abuse. The HSUS has already been able to rescue nearly 10,000 animals in 2010 alone, and thanks to Sheryl and all our donors, we will be able to continue fighting animal cruelty on all fronts."

Thank you for using your music and your fame to help animals, Sheryl!
