Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to be keynote speaker at SolFest XIV

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr will be the keynote speaker at Solar Living Institute's SolFest XIV—the organization’s renewable energy and sustainable celebration. This year celebrates the 14th installment of the annual event which will take place at Northern California's Redwood Empire Fairgrounds in Ukiah, Mendocino County.

Dubbed the “greenest show on Earth,” SolFest is a two-day, family friendly, green festival featuring workshops, demonstrations, and entertainment for eco-conscious enthusiasts.

"We are honored to host such a powerful environmental leader as Mr. Kennedy. For more than 14 years Sol Fest has attracted up to 10,000 attendees due to our dynamic keynote speakers, education panels and workshops, music, and celebration, as a way to demonstrate solar and sustainability applications," stated SLI's Executive Director Ross Beck. "We look forward to an inspirational message that Mr. Kennedy is so famous for."

Kennedy serves as senior attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, chief prosecuting attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper, president of Waterkeeper Alliance, and is a partner in the clean tech work of Silicon Valley's VantagePoint Ventures.

SolFest XIV runs September 25-26 with Kennedy speaking on the 25th. For more information visit solfest.org.
