Robert Redford calls on President Obama to support clean energy

Robert Redford calls on President Obama to support clean energy now in a new tv ad filmed for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

Redford, an NRDC trustee for more than thirty years, calls the Gulf Oil spill a product of our nation’s failed energy policy and says President Obama needs to work with lawmakers to pass comprehensive legislation which will create a clean energy future for the United States.

The actor encourages people to “tell President Obama to lead the way to a clean energy future” by sending a letter to the White House from the NRDC website.
