UPDATE 3:38 p.m. ET -  TMZ reports that PETA is scrapping the billboard plan.  PETA told TMZ, "In light of conversations we have had with Mr. Woods' attorneys, plans to run our billboard are on hold at this time." [end update]

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is offering to place a billboard featuring Tiger Woods in his hometown of Windermere, Florida.

PETA blogger Karin Bennett writes, “While there is some debate about whether Tiger Woods' recent public apology was sufficiently sincere, most everyone—surely including Tiger—agrees: Too much sex can be a bad thing.”

Coincidentally the billboard reads “Too Much Sex Can Be A Bad Thing” with a sub-heading explaining, “…for little tigers too. Help keep your cats (and dogs) out of trouble: Always spay or neuter.” Tiger Woods’ likeness can be viewed to the right of the print standing with hands on hip and sporting a serious gaze.

According to PETA, one unspayed female cat and her offspring can produce upwards of 420,000 cats in seven years while a female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in six years.
