ALDF Crime Tips App reports animal abuse with the click of a button

Animal Legal Defense Fund’s All-New App Gives Smartphone Users an Easy Tool to Protect Animals

ALDF Crime Tips -- now available for iPhone and Android--empowers its users with the tools necessary to safeguard the lives of animals at risk. Users are presented with an intuitive interface that allows them to submit audio, video, picture, and GPS information of any incident straight to the nearest law enforcement authorities. The first-of-its-kind animal abuse reporting app was unveiled in conjunction with ALDF’s National Justice for Animals Week 2013, and will serve as an invaluable new way for animal advocates to take a stand against cruelty in their own communities.

Since 1979, the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) has been fighting to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system. Founded by attorneys active in shaping the emerging field of animal law, ALDF has blazed the trail for stronger enforcement of anti-cruelty laws and more humane treatment of animals in every corner of American life.
