Do you want to get in shape and help stop animal abuse while doing so? If you answered yes, then I believe the PETA Pack is a great program to start with! Beginning on August 12, participants will begin a half marathon (13.1 mile) training program that will last 14 weeks. No need to worry if you are a beginner or an elite marathoner, PETA has you covered with three levels of workout intensities: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
Included in this training program are tips, tricks, and support via virtual coaching. There will be healthy vegan recipes, and exercise ideas as well. One of my heroes, Brandon Brazier, a plant based guru, triathlete, and author, will be the spokesperson helping you stay motivated, and inspiring you to keep moving. Another well-known face joining the PETA pack this year is actress Renee Olstead.
A number of eco-friendly, vegan companies will be sponsoring the PETA pack, and participants are encouraged to receive as many donations as possible.
PETA is looking to raise $200,000 to aid in their investigations/rescues. With a great cause to support there is no reason to just sit there! Let us not just stand up for the voiceless, but also run for them!
