Chloe’s Kitchen by Chloe Coscarelli, the winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, is to die for. I have tried nearly every recipe in the book and each time, I cannot wait to try the recipe again.
Ms. Coscarelli really knows her way around a kitchen. The cookbook contains everything a vegan could ask for from soups and salads to mouthwatering desserts, which include donuts.
I actually had to go out and buy a donut pan just for the occasion and I was ecstatic that I did so. There are not enough vegan donuts in this world.
The pages of the book are glossy and there are plenty of beautiful food photos for you to drool over. There are also quite a few pictures of Ms. Coscarelli, herself, which I admit, I thought was a little strange. I want to see food, not the person who made it!
The pictures of her take away a small segment of the phenomenal aspect of the book, but the food that results from the recipes is enough to overpower any negativity I felt toward that portion.
