Sexy vegan shoes

Veganism isn't limited to food - it's important to be conscious of any products we buy that may be derived from animals. And whether or not you are a full, partial or non-vegan when it comes to eating, why not consider vegan options when shoe shopping? A quick Google search will yield many stylish results; there is a seemingly endless amount of fantastic options out there - many of which are less expensive than their leather counterpart, which is an added bonus.

And vegan shoes shouldn't connote an earthy-crunchy style (which is not at all a bad thing either - we could all use some earthy-crunchiness in our lives!) - there are sexy, sassy, colorful, chic shoes in all shapes and styles that are indeed animal-product-free. Here are some particularly sexy options!

Remember: 1) all of these shoes are faux/fake leather or suede, and 2) when it comes down it it, sexy is whatever is fun to you and makes you feel your best and most comfortable - so have fun finding what your sexy is!

Add a little edge to your outfit with sky high black pumps with heel spikes - or add a splash of color with these otherwise demure green flats:

Nude heels aren't trendy for no reason - they've quickly fallen into the "classic" and "versatile" categories. They go with just about any kind of outfit and every color, can be dressed up or down and have the added bonus of making your legs look extra long thanks to the illusion created by the neutral color of the shoe. Go for a little more traditional with patent leather pumps at a more wearable height, or try some suede platform stilettos:

Give your feet a break from heels and slip into these sassy flat sandals while the weather is still warm. The beading gives them an extra something special so you can dress these down with shorts and a t-shirt, or dress them up with a simple sundress.

Color blocked heels are a great way to kick up an otherwise monotone outfit. Check out stilettoed pumps or ankle booties in bright bursts of color:

Biker chic ankle boots are an easy and fashionable addition to any wardrobe, and the chunky heel on these will give you a little lift without discomfort. Pair these brown boots (booties?) with skinny jeans and a flowy top, under boot cuts with a fitted sweater, or with a hippie-esque short dress or skirt and tights in the fall or winter.

Or, if you're in the market for boots and want something higher both on your leg and under your foot, this is a gorgeous option. Pair them with leggings and chiffon tunic for an effortlessly sexy look, or wear them over tights or your favorite skinny jeans.
