The criteria I follow when purchasing anything I consume/use on myself are simple: It must have all natural (preferably organic) ingredients, and the product must be made by a brand I can trust.
Kiss My Face products on a daily basis, I thought I'd check out their shower & bath gels, as I was running low on my current soap. The reason I support [and encourage others to support] Kiss My Face is that I believe they uphold and honor their mission; to provide the consumer with quality products that are natural, and cost-effective, all while using natural, effective ingredients.
I stopped at the health and beauty section of my local natural market, and went to town, comparing body washes by smelling and reading the labels to make sure that the product was a good fit for my lifestyle.
As soon as I smelled the active athletic shower & bath gel, I immediately knew that was the product for me (the bottle had me at "vegan friendly"). It smelled of crisp birch, with a subtle hint of therapeutic eucalyptus. I was captivated.
I was excited that I found a product that smells so divine, fits under my umbrella of requirements and is very reasonably priced. The active athletic shower gel’s packaging is also bio-degradable, and the shower gel is vegan, as well as gluten, paraben, phthalate, and sls free.
When I got home, I immediately had to try it. I lathered up and was able experience one of the best smelling products I have ever had the pleasure of using. It is one of those scents that is calming, yet uplifting, and encourages relaxation, which helped my overall mood. Oh yeah--and it totally got me clean.
** Although not every Kiss my Face product is vegan (i.e. olive oil & honey soap and lip balm containing beeswax) Kiss my Face’s VP of marketing, Jim Healy, confirmed that all shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, liquid soaps, moisture shaves, toothpastes, deodorants, sunscreen lotions and sprays are all vegan friendly. :)
