Become a Sea Shepherd Dam Guardian: Organization looks to stop sea lion slaughter on Columbia River

Share |

The word is spreading that Sea Shepherd is looking for volunteers to act as Dam Guardians.

The effort is to stop the slaughter of federally protected California sea lions on the Columbia River.

Volunteers are needed at the Bonneville Dam and the “trap site” in Astoria, Ore.

Each year sea lions -- caught eating salmon 5 days in a row -- are marked for death. Sea Shepherd needs you to be a witness and bring attention to this cause.

If you have interest, please email: damguardian@seashepherd.org.
