First, dairy-free “cheese” maker extraordinaire Daiya helped complete our vegan pizza pies with their delicious assortment of shreds.
Now the Canadian-based company – some may say magicians – is about to send our plant-based sandwiches to new heights of taste and completeness.
Daiya will introduce its newest product, Daiya Wedges, at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim March 8 through 11.
Yes that’s right, wedges of the same delectable Daiya goodness you have enjoyed in shred form over the past couple of years.
According to Daiya:
Our new wedges give you the same delicious Daiya experience, in a wedge style!
-Smooth, creamy, and ready to slice.
-Good as a snack, on sandwiches or on hors d'oeuvres.
-In three great flavors: Jack, Cheddar, and Jalapeño Garlic Havarti.
According to the word on the street, the new Daiya Wedges will be available sometime this April.
I hope I can wait that long – I already have visions of a Jalapeno Garlic Havarti sandwich with a side of fries.
