Documentary 'Hungry for Change' is a powerhouse of nutritional information and knowledge

Hungry for Change is an informative documentary that includes a powerhouse combination of nutrition experts who unite to dispel many of the food industries marketing tactics, and inform the general public what health benefits they would reap from adopting a cleaner, greener diet.

I found this documentary to be very straight forward and honest, with all of the informants being very passionate about their beliefs of veering toward more natural, organic foods.

Hungry for Change encompasses all of the characteristics of a great documentary and leaves no questions to be unanswered. Tips, tricks, and food information is consistently given throughout the film, with great emphasis being placed on suggesting an increase in the consumption of organic whole foods.

If I could change one thing about this movie it would be that the “side story” -- a lethargic businesswoman who adopts a healthier lifestyle seemingly in order to impress this one guy -- would have been more passionately and actively portrayed. However, this is justifiable in the sense that many films and television shows are based on relationships, Hungry for Change decided to incorporate some normalcy in the film, and then provided a realistic outcome.

All in all, Hungry for Change is a must see documentary for those who want to improve upon their food knowledge and lifestyles and who want to adopt healthy habits for themselves and their families.

A few memorable quotes from the movie:

"The one thing which I was really afraid to face up to was changing what I put in my mouth." - Joe Cross

"They want to sell you more food. They're into just selling and marketing!" Jason Vale

"If somebody's got beautiful skin, it invites us to a deeper understanding as to what is going on inside their body." David Wolfe

"Whatever you hold in your mind on a consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in your life." - Anthony Robbins.
