Honestly, what’s not to love about country superstar Carrie Underwood? She’s incredibly beautiful, talented, and most importantly, she’s compassionate. She recently opened up to N Focus magazine on the topics of fashion, food, and fitness, and as usual, she makes being a vegan look fantastic.
Speaking of her healthy vegan lifestyle, Underwood explained, "I do my best to eat healthy and work out. I am a vegan, so that certainly helps. It's hard to be vegan and not stay pretty lean.” So true.
Underwood also talks about what kind of vegan snacks she eats, such as almonds, apples, sugar-free dried fruit, raw fruit, nut bars, “super dark” chocolate, as well as veggies and hummus.
“I am such a label reader and always take my food with me everywhere,” she said. “Eating out is a definite diet sabotage and most of the time, it's hard for me to find quick food to eat, so I always make my own food ahead of time and take it with me. That way, I know exactly what's in it and I can still stay healthy and satisfied when I'm working." Go Carrie!
