No Meat Zone Recipes: Vegan Tahini Goddess Dressing


I am in love with this dressing. I could eat it by the spoonful or drink it. I usually don’t buy dressing but I had a moment of weakness awhile back and happened upon Annie’s Goddess Dressing. It was a small bottle and cost way too much but I was hooked after one taste. After reading the ingredients I was sure I could make a version at home very easily. And I did! Now I want to have salad at every meal. But that isn’t a bad thing.

Tahini “Goddess” Dressing

1/2 cup water
3/4 cup tahini
1/4 cup soy sauce (reduced sodium), Bragg’s liquid aminos, or tamari
3 garlic cloves, minced
juice of 2 lemons
1 tsp minced ginger (I use the bottled kind)
2 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp cider vinegar
pepper to taste

Place all the ingredients in food processor or blender. Blend until smooth. Add more water if it is too thick.
