Earth Balance launches vegan organic soy nog for the holiday season

Earth Balance, known in the vegan world for its delicious buttery spreads, soymilk and mayo alternative, has launched a new product for this upcoming holiday season: Organic Soy Nog. You read that right -- the delicious taste of the holidays is available to those who follow a plant-based diet.

"We are thrilled to introduce our new Organic Soy Nog to the marketplace," said TJ McIntyre, Earth Balance Vice President and General Manager. "A complement to the Earth Balance Organic Soymilk line, our new Soy Nog is a delicious, Holiday-inspired beverage that provides a plant-based, dairy-free option lower in calories than traditional egg nog."

And those who may not be vegan but have special dietary needs will be happy to know the product is cholesterol-free, lactose-free and gluten-free.

"Too often, individuals are restricted from enjoying Holiday treats because of food allergies," said TJ. "By providing an organic soy nog, we hope to not only allow more people suffering from food sensitivities to take pleasure in the Holidays, but to enable health conscious individuals and those following a plant-based diet to indulge in organic Holiday goodness."

The Earth Balance Organic Soy Nog will be available across the nation at specialty stores, including Whole Foods, for a suggested retail price of $2.49.
