'Forks Over Knives' companion book offers countless vegan transitioning tips

From the makers of the feature documentary Forks Over Knives, comes the how-to companion book, Forks Over Knives: The Plant-Based Way to Health. Those of us who have seen the film are familiar with its message, and with the publication of this book comes a whole new level of accessibility and easy transition to a healthier lifestyle. With insights from the leading personalities behind the film—Dr. Neil Barnard, Dr. John McDougall, The Engine 2 Diet author Rip Esselstyn, and a foreword from the author of The China Study, T. Colin Campbell, the book is chock full of reader-friendly information proving the benefits of a whole-foods, plant-based diet.

With 125 recipes and countless tips on transitioning, what is often thought of as a diet of sacrifice proves that those who choose to change the way they eat not only benefit their health, but in actuality are only sacrificing heart disease, diabetes, cancer, global warming and participating in practices of cruelty against other living beings.

This book, along with the original film is an invaluable reference for anyone who still doesn’t believe that the Standard American Diet (SAD) is in fact the cause for a majority of our personal, global and moral devastation. Highly recommended.
