Cindy Crawford signs doghouse for auction to benefit animal rescue organization

Propel Zero, the zero-calorie/nutrient-enhanced water, is donating a dog house signed by the company’s spokesperson Cindy Crawford for an eBay auction that will benefit the non-profit organization Much Love Animal Rescue.

Much Love Animal Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing “abused, neglected and homeless animals from the streets and shelters of Los Angeles and place them in loving homes.”

The group has placed over 3,000 animals in forever homes since it was founded in 1999. And beyond the fact that the organization pays for all medical costs for the animals it takes in—including spay/neuter—the California-based rescue has a no-kill philosophy.

The donation by Propel Zero marks the second occasion the PepsiCo owned operation has given some serious cash to Much Love.

Earlier this year the company launched its "Propel Zero to 1000" with an event that raised $20,000 for the organization.

"Much Love Animal Rescue is so grateful for the partnership with Propel Zero and their generous donation to our organization," said Stacy Bodell, member of the Much Love Board of Directors. "Their donation has allowed us to rescue twice the number of animals from shelters than we usually could in the summer months."

The doghouse, that also features the signatures of Brooke Shields, Dancing with the Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Model Joanna Krupa, will begin on National Dog Day, August 26, and will end on September 2. All proceeds will benefit Much Love Animal Rescue.
