Steve-O takes home one of PETA's highest honors

I’ve written about Steve-O’s vegan advocacy before, but with his high-public profile and outspoken advocacy for animal rights & awareness, he's snagged himself one of PETA’S highest honors, the Nanci Alexander Award.

The animal activism award was presented to Steve-O recently, at Nanci Alexander’s vegan restaurant, Sublime. When presented with the award, he said “Being vegan, caring about animals… all of this compassion in my lifestyle is the reward in and of itself.”

You can check out his risqué PETA video “Cruelty Doesn’t Fly" with Pamela Anderson, Andy Dick, and others, as well as his “Cut Out Dissection” ad which brings awareness to all students—in all grades, that you don’t have to dissect in that science class.
