DNA testing service gets the scoop on dog owners who don't clean up

Share |

No one wants to be the one to step in doggy doo, but you should be okay if you watch where you walk. But a New Hampshire apartment complex property manager can’t just watch where she walks, she has to test your dog’s DNA to make sure it doesn’t happen, or else.

Debbie Violette has nothing better to do in this otherwise normal New Hampshire apartment complex than to check every dog’s DNA who resides there, and match it against any perpetrator’s unscooped poop.

More and more apartment complexes are using PooPrints. The first time your pet’s DNA matches the evidence, you’re slapped with a $60 fee to cover the DNA costs. Your second violation could mean eviction! You and your repeat offending pooch will have to find another place to rest & relieve.

Remember, it's a privilege not to step in poo.
