Wounded dog left for dead discovered in garbage bag

Share |

In Luzerne County, Pennsylvania people are trying to understand who would be so cruel to leave a wounded dog to die in a garbage bag.

The small white dog that appears to be a poodle/bichon mix was located by a passerby.  The dog was unable to walk when brought to the shelter but after initial treatment is able to stand for short periods of time.

Once the dog is rehabilitated she will go to a foster home before eventually being put up for adoption.

The saddest part of the story is that whoever did this, did it deliberately.

The SPCA is offering a $500.00 dollar reward for any person who has information that leads to an arrest. Please contact the SPCA with any information at 570-825-4111.
