Sea Shepherd crew locates whaling fleet early in the fourth season of Whale Wars

The wait is finally over for the highly anticipated season four of Whale Wars. This past Friday was the premiere of "Operation No Compromise" on Animal Planet. This season introduced the Gojira, the new high speed interceptor boat placed into action after the Ady Gil sank.

The first episode starts off with the three ships Steve Irwin, Bob Barker, and Gojira leaving port from Melbourne, Australia heading to the waters of the Antarctic to engage the Japanese whalers. The episode shows how the Bob Barker spots a Japanese harpoon boat very early in the campaign. They notice that the harpoon gun is not even installed on the bow of the boat which means the vessel has not even begun to hunt whales. Next we see the Steve Irwin coming upon a harpoon ship and starts to trail it.

The highlight of the first episode of season four is how fast the Sea Shepherd's boats discover the Japanese whaling fleet. In past seasons it would takes weeks searching in the 3000 miles of ocean to come upon a Japanese vessel. The beginning of season four has started very positively for the crew of Sea Shepherd.
