Woman gets angry at bus driver for swerving away from dog

When a Jack Russell Terrier ran in front of a bus in Coney Island, the bus driver swerved just in time to save the dog’s life. The bus driver, John Russo, did not know that a passenger would be angry at him for doing so.

"I stopped -- and I prayed to God I didn't hit the dog," Russo told The New York Post. "And within seconds, this short woman comes up, rips off my badge and punches me in the chest."

Russo’s own Jack Russell Terrier had recently passed away, and he was happy to have not killed the dog in the road.

The woman, Yanira Otera, felt otherwise and apparently threatened Russo’s life and screamed, “You should have f--king killed the dog!”

The reason for Otera’s outrage is unknown.
