Robert Pattinson has run in with zebra during filming

British actor Robert Pattinson has had some interesting adventures while working with animals for his new movie Water for Elephants.

Supposedly, during filming, a zebra broke out of its cage and chased after Pattinson.

"I almost got hit by a zebra," he claims. "The other animals were slightly scared of humans, but the zebras could not care less."

He also states that working with animals can be "really scary."

"The bars of the cages for the lions and tigers were too wide, and they could fit their arms out completely. There were tigers, like, batting at the top of the Steadicam operator's camera."

Although Pattinson experienced bad mojo with the zebra, the 24-year-old actor proclaims his love for his new co-star, not Reese Witherspoon or Kristen Stewart, but for Tai the elephant. In fact, Tai was a main reason for his decision to act in Water for Elephants.

In an interview with MTV, Robert Pattinson said, "I met Tai the elephant and that pretty much sealed it.”

It was love at first sight for the Twilight actor. "The first time I met Tai the elephant I got in her mouth," he explained. "I just felt like it was a good place to be, and she carried me around."
