Ted Danson slated to appear on Martha Stewart's 'The Green Show'

We’ve always known we could count on her for great recipes featuring real, whole foods, but in recent years, Martha Stewart has begun to adopt a more holistic approach that focuses on nutrition, healthy recipes, vegan diets (she’ll be devoting an entire show to the topic), or food allergies. And now, just in time for spring, Martha is taking it a step further with a show all about Green Living.

She’s enlisted the help of much-loved celeb and environmental activist Ted Danson to help us achieve our “green goals for life.” Danson, who had an “environmental epiphany” after seeing a “Water Polluted, No Swimming” sign on a beach where he strolled with his two young daughters, subsequently started the American Oceans Campaign (which merged with a group called Oceana), dedicated to preventing further destruction of our vast waterways. On the show, Danson is scheduled to discuss “how to preserve the world’s oceans” and (in a move that perhaps appears antithetical to that goal) to prepare “salt-baked striped bass” on air. The show also promises to cover eco-friendly pet care as well as organic gardening.

Like everything else she does, Martha’s show on the topic promises to be full of well-researched information, up-to-the-minute ideas, and Martha’s inimitable style (this time with help from Danson). Tune in to see Ms. Stewart’s take on living the green life.
