'Vegan Myths Debunked' YouTube video by Jonathan and Ivory

As vegans, we've all heard the dreaded, "Where do you get your protein?" question usually followed by other vegan myths in question form, more than likely circulated by the I Love Meat Association of America.

Now, rather than pointing the inquisitor to various websites, you can play your friend/acquaintance/family member the informative, yet catchy, ditty Vegan Myths Debunked performed by Jonathan Mann and Ivory King.

During the song Jonathan asks Ivory, “Where do you get your protein, protein, protein? Only meat has protein so where do you get your protein?” Ivory sings, “Actually lots of things have protein. Beans have protein. Greens have protein, fruits and nuts have protein, grains and seeds have protein and here's the thing that's so obscene: We don't need so much protein. Most people eat more than they need.”

Watch the video below to listen to the song in its entirety, then stop by Jonathan Mann's website to download the tune.
