Christie's offers a chance to meet Justin Bieber and save the planet at the same time

Ever wanted to spend a day hanging out with President Bill Clinton? Get a tennis lesson from John McEnroe? Meet Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber backstage after a concert? Go behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week with Heidi Klum?

Well, now’s your chance, and you can do it all for a good cause – protecting the planet.

Between March 17 and April 7, 2011 Christie’s hosts their second annual Bid to Save the Earth Green Auction. People from anywhere in the world will get the chance to go online and bid on a long list of incredible experiences from a style consultation with Vogue's AndrĂ© Leon Talley and Diane Von Furstenberg to a ten night trip for four to Tanzania and Mozambique.

An invite-only Bid to Save the Earth live auction will also be held on March 29 at Christie's in New York and hosted by Seth Meyers of Saturday Night Live fame.

Proceeds from both the online and live auction will go to four environmental nonprofit organizations: Oceana, Natural Resources Defense Council, Conservation International, and Central Park Conservancy.

Christie's is waiving all fees and commissions for the auctions.

In addition to bidding in the online auction, people can make a $10 donation to the four beneficiaries by texting "gogreen" to 20222.
