Will you be my vegan valentine? A guide to compassionate gifts

This year say "I love you" with a compassionate, decadent gift that is cruelty free and joyful. Here are a few finds from the veg-tastic to the sublime. I strongly advocate for treating yourself to something wonderful on Valentine's Day because you are your own beloved. I also think it would be the perfect love overflow to gift one of these to someone you adore.

A Donation to Farm Sanctuary in your beloved's name
A gift of a donation says to me....I love you so much that I want to create positive change in your name. Together we are unstoppable...lets help save the world.
Farm Sanctuary started in 1986 as a fledgling, all volunteer organization that was funded by sales of veggie hot dogs from a VW van. It was founded to combat the abuses of factory farming and to encourage a new awareness and understanding about "farm animals." Today, Farm Sanctuary has grown to become the nation's leading farm animal protection organization, with hundreds of thousands of supporters. Farm Sanctuary remains solidly committed to their mission to end cruelty to farm animals and promote compassionate living through rescue, education and advocacy efforts.
