Antidote Chocolate: A sweet, healthy treat for your Valentine

Valentine’s Day is here; time to buy your sweetie some delicious chocolate to prove your undying love. If you want a sweet treat that is packed with an extra punch of anti-oxidants try some Antidote Chocolate, delicious bars made sustainably with a unique blend of 50/50 raw and roasted cocoa for optimum taste and nutrition.

The chocolate bars are organic, vegan and made with minimal sweeteners and are available in five different flavor combinations. Each flavor is named after a Greek goddess, and is made from 84% cocoa:

Gaia – Essential
Panakeia - Lavender Sea Salt
Aletheia - Ginger and Goldenberries
Kakia – Red hibiscus and Berry
Artemis – Almond and Pepper

Antidote chocolate is also enriched with moringa, a tiny plant packed with nutrients known for its healing qualities in Ayurveda medicine.

I tried Gaia and Kakia, both were delicious with creamy textures and had floral and fruity notes.

You don’t have to use Valentine’s Day as an excuse to eat chocolate, in fact you don’t even need a sweetie! Dark chocolate is a heart healthy vegan treat. I eat some everyday!

Antidote chocolate is available at retail stores and online. Go to their website to see where you can pick some up: http://antidotechoco.com.
