Weird Al Yankovic divulges why he became a vegetarian

Weird Al Yankovic, musician, comedian, and longtime vegetarian, recently published a children’s book titled “When I Grow Up.” It has also been revealed by Rolling Stone that “Weird Al” has almost completed his thirteenth album, which will feature a parody of Lady Gaga’s Poker Face (“Polka Face”).

Between finishing his album and publishing a “whimsical” book aimed for children, Weird Al found time for a Q and A session with Celebrity Baby Scoop, where he also talks about his personal and family life.

During the interview, Celebrity Baby Scoop asked, “We read that you follow a strictly vegetarian diet. Why did you choose to become a vegetarian?”

Weird Al gave a humorous answer, stating, “Many years ago I found out something about hamburgers that really grossed me out. You may not know this, so I hope I don’t make you sick, but it turns out hamburgers are actually made out of dead cows. I am not making this up. Needless to say, as soon as I discovered that, I gave up meat entirely."
