Daiya to introduce new flavor mid-March of this year

Many vegetarians find their journey to full out veganism derailed by the overwhelming urge to down copious amounts of the addictive and delicious superstar of dairy, the one and only cheese. Thankfully Daiya has come to the rescue with three scrumptious cheese alternatives, Mozzarella, Cheddar and Pepperjack style shreds to make that excursion to a 100-percent plant-based diet a bit easier.

Wait what? Did I say three alternatives?

That’s right, Daiya will be adding a third flavor to its lineup of soy, dairy (casein and lactose), gluten, egg, rice, peanut and tree nut-free shreds.

“Yes, we are very excited to announce we will be launching Daiya Pepperjack in mid-March! It will retain the same stretching and melting properties of our other flavours, just with a spicy kick!” said Daiya Consumer Relations/Sales Coordinator Shnane Liem.

So that means a little spice added to your vegan pizzas, burritos, quesadillas, sandwiches…yeah it’s pretty much endless.

One thing is certain; a little Pepperjack shred inspired circle will be drawn around the middle-portion of this March on my calendar.
