'Kind Diet' author and actress Alicia Silverstone to speak at UCF

Alicia Silverstone, who started her career as an actress (most notably in Clueless, the iconic mid-nineties remake of Jane Austen's Emma), has added public service speaker to her repertoire which also includes author of the plant-based diet best-seller The Kind Diet.

On Thursday, February 3, at 3 p.m., she will speak at the University of Central Florida (UCF), as a part of the school's focus on international and environmental issues.

The event is free and open to the public.
