In 'Super Rich' Russell Simmons' advice goes well beyond material wealth

New York Times bestselling author of DO YOU!, Russell Simmons now offers his fans and readers a comprehensive approach to not only getting rich, but SUPER RICH. Only not in the material sense one might assume. The ironic, yet accurately applied title, as Deepak Chopra notes, “Defines true affluence as a higher state of consciousness.”

In an attempt to clarify the meaning behind the title, Simmons states, “The journey that I’m promoting in this book, despite what the title may seem to suggest, is not one that’s going to culminate in a mansion with a luxury car in the driveway. What I’m encouraging you to strive for, and really what I’m seeking myself, is something much greater. So rather than any state of material abundance, Super Rich actually refers to living in a state of consciousness where you’re able to see the miracles of life unfolding in front of you all the time.”

Combining his extensive practice and knowledge of yoga and meditation and the impact it has made upon his down to earth business sense, as well as all areas of his life, both professional and personal; Simmons has produced a comprehensive, spiritual instruction manual for abundance, which at its highest aim, is the state of Enlightenment, or Samadhi.

Through his collective devotion to yoga, meditation, compassion, gratitude, and giving, Simmons teaches his readers that, “When you have faith and courage to use your gifts and serve the world, the world will in return always reward you.”

Super Rich is at its core, a humble demonstration and pronouncement of the Golden Rule. When we treat others, as we would like to be treated, when we give freely, without concern for ourselves, and when we live each moment to the fullest, we are at the happiest, and therefore, wealthiest we can ever hope to be.
