Sick teenager sought for killing kittens in ‘snuff’ video

A YouTube video, which was uploaded just before Christmas, starts with two tiny kittens being gently stroked by a teenager while John Lennon’s Happy Christmas (War is Over) plays in the background. The apparently cute scene soon turns to horror as he then places them inside an airtight bag and uses a vacuum cleaner to suck all the air out, before proudly displaying the lifeless bodies for the camera.

Unsurprisingly the boy's face has been obscured throughout the footage, which has since been removed from the website, but nevertheless there are people trying to find out the identity of the heartless killer. A Facebook group has been started and has almost 6,000 members at the time of writing, and animal rights group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is also on the case.

“PETA U.S.’s Cruelty Investigations Department is actively following up possible leads to determine the identity and whereabouts of the man in this video. Animal abusers are cowards who take their issues out on the most defenseless beings available to them, The pain and fear that these tiny kittens must have experienced is unimaginable,” said a spokesman from PETA. “We strongly urge anyone with any information regarding this case to please contact PETA U.S.’s Cruelty Investigation Department.”

A spokesman from Britain’s R.S.P.C.A (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) has declared that they will prosecute the teenager if it’s found that the killings occurred in Britain.
