R&B singer Brandy possibly vegan once again in 2011

Grammy-Award winning recording artist Brandy Norwood may make a return to a 100 percent plant-based diet in 2011.

The 31-year-old singer and actress expressed her desire for a vegan redo to US Magazine when asked, “Do you have any New Year's resolutions?”

"Just being healthier. I'm going to try to go back to being a vegan,” explained Brandy.

Her timing couldn’t be any better.

The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) just kicked off its 21-Day Vegan Kickstart. The program offers celebrity tips, meal plans and nutrition webcasts.

According to PCRM, becoming vegan is “the easiest way to trim excess weight, prevent diabetes, cut cholesterol, lower blood pressure, prevent and reverse heart disease, and reduce cancer risk.”

Of course we all know that already don’t we?

TDIV wishes Brandy the best with her journey back into the compassionate and healthy world of a plant-based diet.
