Howard Stern’s longtime sounding board and sidekick has finally stepped into the spotlight, and the vegan community has welcomed her with open arms. After making the switch to a plant-based diet in 2007, Robin Quivers has admittedly transformed her health. With the help of Gavan Murphy, aka The Healthy Irishman, Quivers recently launched Vegucating Robin; a YouTube Channel featured cooking show.

In approximately six minutes using just six ingredients, the show debuted its first episode last week featuring their Cannellini Bean Concerto. Combining a hearty blend of seasonal veggies and protein packed white beans, Murphy dubs the dish a “stoup,” an artful blend of soup when choosing to use more broth and stew when using less, that is prepared complete in one pot.

Though Quivers confesses her lack of culinary skill, a fact that is blurred by Murphy’s expertise and effortlessness, as well as their shared humor, charisma, and deft knowledge of plant-based nutrition, the theme is one of simplicity. Long time veggies and newcomers alike will undoubtedly appreciate the ease with which these healthy, vegan dishes can be transitioned into any diet and harried routine.

Episode 2, It’s Not Pesto Without Pine Nuts, hits the airways December 8th.
