Phil Mickelson having ‘second thoughts’ about vegetarian diet

PGA star and former Five Guys Burgers & Fries regular Phil Mickelson might be pondering a return to his meat eating ways.

“Lefty” decided to go sans flesh this past summer after he was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, a disease that causes the immune system to attack joints and tendons.

But apparently good health and vitality aren’t enough to erase the doubts surrounding his plant-based dietary transformation.

Mickelson told the AP that even though he feels “100 percent” and “terrific” he is having “second thoughts” about his short four month stint as a vegetarian. He requested a stay on his final decision explaining that he will “see how the holidays go.”

Let’s hope they won’t go with a turkey leg and a side of gravy.
