Betty White to choose the winners of 'Happy, Healthy Cat Photo Contest'

Hot In Cleveland star and Golden Girl Betty White is uniting with Sergeant's Pet Care Products, Inc. and Morris Animal Foundation for the "Happy, Healthy Cat Photo Contest."

The contest honors Morris Animal Foundation's annual campaign to promote feline health, and also features the cat-friendly products from Sergeant's Pet Care.

Betty White, a strong supporter of the Morris Animal Foundation, will be choosing the winners from the photos submitted. The Grand Prize winner will have their photo featured on the cover of AnimalNews magazine and highlighted in an article in the publication. They will also receive a gift card to PetSmart and an arrangement of products for cats from Sergeant's Pet Care. The runners up will receive gift assortments as well.

Pictures can be entered as one of the three following categories:

* The Happy, Healthy Cat category includes photos of cats that best represent the happy, healthy contest theme.
* The My Favorite Human category includes photos of cats with their favorite family, child or adult.
* The My Favorite K9 category includes photos of cats with their favorite dog, to show the bonds of friendship common between the species.

"Cats are wonderful pets and sometimes don't get the respect they deserve. They make you laugh and they can laugh with you. They can be the best friends in the world," said Betty White.  "Send your photos in now, while you're thinking about it! We want to see those happy, healthy kitties!"

The Happy, Healthy, Cat Photo Contest is currently up and running and will end on December 15th, 2010. Photo entries can be uploaded to sergeants.com and will then become available to view in the contest gallery.
