P.S. from Aéropostale partners with non-profit to keep kids warm this winter

A growing list of celebrities are supporting the '1 Warm Kid' campaign and are encouraging you to do the same. The campaign, a partnership between P.S from Aéropostale and the non-profit organization One Warm Coat, aims to collect as many coats as possible and donate them to local agencies who will distribute them to families in need.

"One in five kids live in poverty. It's startling to learn of how many families struggle to have the basic necessities, such as a coat," said Scott Bimbaum, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Aéropostale, Inc. "1 Warm Kid will provide warmth to many families this winter and shed light on this growing epidemic."

As well as matching each donated coat with a brand new one, and awarding prizes to the top three schools who collect the most coats, P.S. from Aéropostale will give individuals 25% off their next purchase for each donation. Those who donate could also win a signed coat from one of the participating celebrities, who include Ellen DeGeneres, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette, plus several teen stars including Jennette McCurdy, Debby Ryan, David Henrie and the Sprouse Brothers.

To find a participating store near you, and for more information on the campaign, please visit Aéropostale here.
