'Whale Wars' to return to our screens for a fourth season

Captain Paul Watson's Sea Shepherd Conservation Society has scored a fourth season of "Whale Wars" for Animal Planet. The controversial Watson has named the upcoming campaign Operation No Compromise stating that he will not tolerate any compromise with Japan that entails legalizing the whale slaughter in the Southern Ocean.

"Just what is it about this word 'sanctuary' that people don't understand," said Watson. "Sanctuary means no killing, it means protection, it means refuge, it means asylum, and we intend to protect the whales within the sanctuary with all the resources available to us."

Additionally the series, which will air again next June, is currently running a competition on YouTube for the chance to win a place aboard either the Steve Irwin or the Bob Barker, both of which are returning to Antarctica this December to attempt to stop Japanese whaling ships from hunting in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary.

If you feel you have what it takes to sail with the Sea Shepherd, upload a video and you could be sailing with actress Michelle Rodriguez, who has announced she will be joining the next campaign.
