Flash mob advises travelers that Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway is ‘connected’

Recently travelers at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta were treated to a flash mob performance—you know, where a large group of people assemble in a public place and surprise patrons with a performance—to promote the grand opening of the eco-friendly Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway.

The performance aimed to deliver a message that the new 403-room hotel, which is on track to receive a LEED silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, is connected. Not only is the hotel connected to the airport but travelers can rest assured that they will have access to high speed internet and virtual meeting technology along with other high tech features.

"We are proud to introduce the new hotel -- which represents the latest in design for our flagship Marriott hotel brand and salute Grove Street Partners, for their vision to transform the Atlanta Gateway complex into a vibrant, attractive center for hospitality and business in Atlanta," said Rob Steigerwald, Chief Operating Officer Marriott International.
